- Your phone model and OS version
- The app version, from Settings at the bottom
- What you expected and what happened instead
Delete your account
Deleting removes your account, synced projects, brand profiles and subscription record. Videos and exports on your phone are yours and are not touched.
In the app
- 1Open Settings from the avatar on the home screen.
- 2Tap Account.
- 3Tap Delete account and type DELETE to confirm.
- 4Cancel the subscription in the App Store or Play Store separately — stores do not let us cancel on your behalf.
By email
If you cannot get into the app, write to us from the address on the account and we delete it within 30 days, then confirm by email.

Common problems
The language model is still downloading
The first cut in a language downloads a speech model, around 200 MB, once per language. Keep the app open on Wi-Fi until it finishes; it resumes if you leave. Settings shows what is downloaded and lets you remove one.
It says there is not enough space
A render needs roughly twice the size of the source clip free. Clear the TidyTake cache from Settings, or delete finished projects; the exports already in your camera roll are unaffected.
My HDR clip looks washed out
Clips filmed in HDR are converted to standard range so captions and colours look the same everywhere they get posted. The app warns you before it converts. If the look matters, film in standard range.
The queue stops when I lock my Android phone
Android puts apps to sleep to save battery. Allow TidyTake to run in the background, and turn off battery optimisation for it, in your phone Settings under Apps. The queue then keeps running with the screen off.
The export has no sound
Check whether the clip was filmed with an external microphone that is no longer connected. Re-import the clip and play it in the review screen; if the waveform is flat, the source has no audio track and there is nothing to cut.
I signed in but my subscription is missing
Subscriptions follow the email address, not the phone. Make sure you signed in with the address you used at checkout, then pull to refresh on the plan card. If it is still missing, write to us with the receipt.
